[1] Major crossing point for Cubans trying to reach the USA

[2] Haiti is entitled to no less than $1 billion from the USA every year and as the result of the coup and hurricanes is entitled to more this first year of social security assistance Hurricane/ Haitian Insurance HA-29-9-04

[3] Bolivian budget dramatically increased from $2.265 billion in revenues and 2.769 billion expenditures in 2005

[4] Bolivian imports increased from $1.986 billion and exports from $1.595 billion.

[5] Cuban budget statistics went up from the credibly communist numbers of $18.01 billion revenues and $19.06 billion in expenditures in 2005.  The new numbers indicate $35.07 billion revenues and $36.41 billion expenditures for 2006, more than 80% of the economy.  Therefore we are staying with the old numbers

[6] The GDP estimate for Ecuador greatly increased from $49.51 billion and $3,700 per capita.

[7] Suriname GDP increased from $1.885 billion, $4,300 per capita in 2005

[8] Peru budget revenues and expenditures increased dramatically from $13.6 and $14.6 billion in 2005

[9] Peru international trade increased dramatically from $12.3 and $9.6 billion in 2005

[10] Uruguay GDP went down from $49.27 billion and $14,500 per capita in 2005 although a positive growth rate is reported.

[11] The US GDP is highly disputed whereas it is so much higher than all the other nations in the world.  The CIA reports a GDP of $12.98 trillion and per capita of $43,500.  The Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) estimates a GDP of $13,449.9 billion although 2.2% growth rate belies this and increasing income inequality renders this undesirable. A lower real GDP using chained 2000 dollars of $11,506.5 billion is offered. The US Census Bureau reported a per capita of $21,600 in 1999 and median household income of $43,318.  WHO reports a per capita GDP of $36,056 in 2002 however this is likely inspired by the high percentage of per capita contribution of US citizens to health.  The $11,506.5 billion figure for the GDP results in a per capita of $38,353.  The BEA estimates gross disposable personal income using chained 2000 dollars is $8,419.1 billion for a per capita income of $28,063, a reasonable estimate.  The dispute seems to be whether European GDP is really the GNI and value that the US gives to its investments in order to justify the loans needed to afford the deficit.  The high figures for the US are disturbing because they seem to provoke pillaging and unrealistic estimates that lead to market failure and large quantities of fraud and fraudulently enforced printings of money that led to the recent devaluation.  The Federal Reserve has therefore advocated for a Great Moderation of the GDP to limit these financial stresses and the proliferation of economic services.  To improve this study it would be nice if the CIA would have a column for GNI and per capita income whereas the GNI is a much better indicator of the economic well being of the people.
