Asian Official Development Assistance (ODA) is best studied in the 2005 Statistical Human Development Report (HDR) regarding 2003.  In the table above + denotes $ received; - $ contributed. The plan is to administrate $10 billion in new aid in 2006 to the least developed South East Asian Nations, including India and to begin assistance to mainland China to accelerate development.  It is hoped to levy $15,651 million of assistance from South East Asian nations in 2006, up from $10,773 million in 2003.  In 2006 it is hoped to increase international development spending from $15,558 million in 2003 to $25,500 million in 2006, a $10 billion annual increase.  Figures in the Aid Estimate column have been computed to be easier to understand in the second draft.
