United Nations Hospitals & Asylums Political Party Year Hanukah HA-10-12-04

Whereas Article 105 of the Charter of the United Nations provides that the Organization shall enjoy in the territory of each of its Member such privileges and immunities as are necessary for the fulfillment of its purposes and that representatives of the Members of the United Nations and officials of the Organization shall similarly enjoy such privileges and immunities as are necessary for the independent exercise of their functions in connection with the Organization.

On 10 December 2004 I was reading the Cincinnati Post at Skyline Chili that reported, the UN Secretary General, Koffi Annan, had announced the release of a report by an panel [we hope the readership of www.title24uscode.org] that makes the most sweeping reforms in the United Nations since its foundation.  He was rewarded with a rare applause from the UN General Assembly.

Not having any comments other than stay HAPPY this HANUKAH I shall disclose the secret recipe for Skyline Chili, a local restaurant chain that serves a unique dish served only in the immediate vicinity of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Skyline Chili is comprised of a layer of spaghetti noodles covered with a layer of chili and topped with a layer of shredded cheese that is served with onions, beans, tomatoes, oyster crackers, hot sauce and sour cream.

The recipe brings to mind a story of my mother.  Her father, one day, prepared a very strange dish to scare a non-Jewish boyfriend from the house- spaghetti noodles, meat sauce, topped with ice cream.

It is times like these that I wish I had a car so that I could drive to Dayton to celebrate Hanukah with my mom and escape the high likeliness that pork products are used in my chili in this town that’s initial success can be attributed to the pork packing industry.  I recommend trying the dish at home before opening up a franchise of your own or purchasing their products, if you wish to keep kosher.

Happy Hanukah
